Happy Friday!

It has been quite a dramatic week on the beaches with a foiled heist outside Dee Why RSL culminating in the shooting of a would-be robber, incidentally an Iraq war veteran, and injury of a bystander. Thankfully no-one else was injured with the action going down in such a high-traffic location.

Out the back there has also been some exciting action, with yesterday afternoon delivering glassy and classy three foot peaks all around the beaches. It has eased off somewhat today but there are still some beautifully feathering little walls reeling off so it's well worth a paddle over the next 24 hours. Unfortunately strong offshores will see the swell pretty much flat-line by Sunday so you'll have to find something else to do! Kiteboarding anyone?

Enjoy the images in this week's gallery. There are some classic shots!

Cheers,

Brad
